Anyone here really believe the country will be worse off with Mc Cain as president that we would be with Obama as president ?

Yes. I have already explained why.

Two scenarios:
1)Obama wants to pass a crappy bill (pick one: raise taxes, universal health care, amnesty, global warming...). Republicans fight it.
2) McCain wants to pass a crappy bill (maybe the same one). Republicans don't fight it because he is in their own party. They are pressured to go along.

Dearest, they don't have to raise taxes, the tax cuts EXPIRE on their own. McCain has said he will keep them, but Obama doesn't have to do a thing but LET them expire. How, pray tell, would Republicans fight that? Especially since if Obama wins, there will be like 190 left in the house and 39 in the Senate. The answer is, they won't.
