You said satire, it sounds more like the Democratic Platform. Wait, it IS the Democratic Platform. No, wait, they didn’t say anything about killing babies, yet.

"Our finest men and women are CEOs, editors, and reporters at the New York Times, Simon & Schuster, Random House, Disney and CNN."
Well I was ready to agree 100% until I realized that such magnificent citizens as Keith Olberdork, Chris Matthews, Dana Milbank, Frank Rich, et al were not singled out for special honorary mention. /s

Pretty good.
I could and have done better satire than that.
But the point is well taken.

On the other hand, as much as I love Rush, could Operation Chaos have given us John McCain by bleeding the conservatives from our primaries? I’m asking the question because I don’t know if this is a possibility or not.

This kept her in it, and kept Democrats fighting each other from within.

Tyranny is ... not being allowed to use the Fairness Doctrine to keep them off the air. This sounds SO much like them, that we may want to rethink the "satire" label.

No. The Republican race was over at least before Virginia's primary on February 12th; McCain was the only candidate left after the first couple primaries/caucuses. What a fiasco.

FReeper “writer33” is correct.
After McCain effectively secured the nomination in the earlier primaries, due to conservative Republicans splitting their votes among alternative candidates and some crossover voting for McCain, Rush knew we were stuck with McCain. He also knew that McCain would not fight strongly enough against the Dems because he had already proved that and said so, in effect.
That’s when Rush instituted Operation Chaos. The goal was to help the Dems divide among themselves and tear each other up, since Rush said McCain sure wasn’t going to rip them as he should
