All I can say is: We've got to play the cards we've been dealt...from both sides of the aisle.

A very significant point, and one that's been in the back of my mind for a good while.

I've been very vocal in speaking out against McCain - he isn't the candidate I want. Not by a long shot. And I've made it clear that I do not like many aspects of his campaign.

But watching the 'rat's this weekend convinced me that it is NOT a good time to fold. We may not have a straight flush, but we've got 'two-of-a-kind' and that's a start. I would call it the best hand dealt in comparison to the other two idiots.

Let's just hope we see something good on the flop. I believe McCain's VP choice will be the decider. He better go all in.
