I saw Mr. Diddley perform at the old Reading Fairgrounds @1970, went with my big sister and her husband. First concert I ever saw. I think "The Platters" were the other performers.
I had just started playing guitar and never saw anything like it.
Thanks for the memories, Bo.

Other musicians have always paid tribute to Bo , by cover recording , observable influence , imitation , and outright rip-off . Rest in Peace Maestro , your unique style moved the peoples feet like no other .

I'd like to have seen Bo do the sound tracks to the Beach Party movie madness of the early 60's:

Bo named his creation The Big B. After he wore the corners off of it he designed another called The Mean Machine.

You got your radio turned down too low
Turn it up!
(YOU CAN’T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER, I believe;
just played by Rush)
Bo was also on one of the Super Blues Band albums
I saw Bo years ago at Harper’s Ferry in the Allston section of Boston. Before the show I chowed down on steak tips
at the bar and Mr. Diddley sat two seats away from me,
conversing with club owner Charlie Abel. Was too shy
to say hi/didn’t want to interrupt; anyway, a great show

Bo Diddley played the pawnbroker in Trading Places. "You got a receipt?"
"In Philadelphia, it's worth...fifty...bucks."
