In the natural state, humans live about thirty years and need to reproduce relatively quickly and need only acquire a few skills that can be passed down to the next generation.
Men need to impregnate girls before other men do, in part because the girls will probably only live long enough to have one or two. Since women will almost certainly all be dead by 25 from the dangers of childbirth, it’s unnatural for children to know their grandmothers or for grandfathers (who are 35) to worry about grandchildren, since they are busy impregnating their neices and even their daughters.
If you think nature’s your friend, you don’t need enemies.
The human female is the only female animal that has hidden heat. That's because for the last 200,000 years if parents knew their daughter was in heat they locked her up, thinning this trait completely out of the gene pool. A daughter getting pregnant drains family resources so has been unwanted for a long time. Nature has had a long arms race against parents and has developed many tricks and traps. Sometimes nature wins. It's really bad sport for the parents to then "terminate" the baby.
Do you think this Romeo should spend the next 30 years in federal prison for kidnapping a child across state lines?
