I lived through Carter. Yes, McCain sucks, but he won't destroy the military, give away the Panama Canal (an example of a US strategic asset), turn his back on an ally (as Carter did to the Shah of Iran) or go on national TV and tell us that we suck (the "Malaise" speech.)
LOL - McCain will do whatever his Democrat/Moderate friends in the Senate want. He has never met a promise, principle, or person he would not sacrifice to “get something done in a bipartisan manner.”
