I lived in Chicago for 27 years, and had never been to Trinity, but I knew Jeremiah Wright was a bombastic over-the-top hater of Whitey. I also knew Pfleger was a flake and that Ayers was a terrorist.
Barak is not exactly quick to understand what's going on around him.
By the way, is he still demanding preconditions before meeting with General Petreus?

He understands it all perfectly. That’s why he associated with and used these people in his political climb. Because he knew they would help him. It’s obviously stressing him out to disassociate with these people. But he knows he has to do it if he wants to get elected.
