Sen. Barack Obama issued a statement this afternoon after a video tape emerged showing Father Michael Pfleger 'speechifying' from the pulpit of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago.
In the statement Obama said he was "deeply disappointed" in Pfleger after his sermon was captured on videotape showing the priest mocking Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and white people from the pulpit of Trinity, the home church of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Sen. Obama.

Sure they are and so is Obama. I don’t know why he doesn’t just admit that he hates America, white people and the flag, move on and trust the fact that there are enough people out here willing to vote on that platform.

Since it is repeatedly showing itself to be a bigoted piece of trash. She needs to explain why she left and why she doesn’t hold any disregard for Obama staying despite several high profile ugly incidents.
Oprah 'joined' the church, and depending on which story you believe, she either quit because Wright tried to shake her down (well, make her tithe 10%) or because she wanted to write a check and not participate.
I used to think that the second scenario was the most likely; I've come to believe that the first is more likely.

Has anyone noticed that Drudge once again has nothing on an Obama controversy? Any other time he would be all over this and making it news. Now, not so much. Drudge has left the building and is now firmly behind Obama.
Pfleger is a blactor.
Algore always tried that when he was speaking in a black church, but he never came across as anything more than "arrogant, condescending white trying to act black".
Pfleger, on the other hand, has it down pat -- with a little "white rage" thrown in for seasoning.
I would love to see this guy visit a local Southern Baptist Church in my area...the boos would be awesome!

French side came up from the colonies to farm, French Grandparents rejected by socialist in the old world, died on the farm fields fighting the elements for survival. Irish Grandparents died on the railroads and in the mills. fighting for every morsel of food.
