However, if you quit and you were able to convince 10 or 12 of your fellow HD employees to quit, you would sent a strong message.

And what is more important, paying your bills or sending a righteous message?

If it is important to you to keep this job, then there's not much you can do. Take a vacation day or something.

You could refuse to wear the t-shirt based on your religious beliefs or something, but I bet they could find some reason to can you if you cause much of a stink.
