Don’t worry. McCain will rush to the rescue. He’ll issue Carbon Credit and DDT cards to every American. At a nominal one-time-only fee, of course. Well, maybe make that fee once-a-month.
Either way, you’ll get the same great protection.

If liberals are brain dead, what would a little DDT hurt anyway? *shrug*
And Joni Mitchell’s “Taxi” was a great song, even if she was living in utopia.

Releasing two to eight pounds of DDT, OH NOES!
We used hundreds of thousands of tons of the stuff before it was banned.

This article is double-moot. Aside from the global warming falsehood, DDT was banned under a false pretense (that it was danger to some fowl). That research is known to be FABRICATED , ergo FALSE. So, even if you buy the dubious assertion that (anthropogenic) global warming is causing significant amounts of DDT to be released, there is no proof that it will cause any significant damage. Someone needs to start decrying the greed and avariciousness of BIG RESEARCH.
To: PROCON
DDT is very persistent in Nature in that the chemical is very resistent to breaking-down naturally.
Even today, it is the most common pesticide found on US grown fruit and vegetables even though it has been banned since the 1970s.
On the other hand, there are lots of insects everywhere in the world so the insecticide effects of the left-over DDT are now insignificant.

If liberals are brain dead, what would a little DDT hurt anyway? *shrug* IF? There is no IF to it. Liberals ARE braindead - why else do they embrace an evil philosophy (socialism) that has failed time and time again.
Sheesh, buy a vowel and get an American brain. Liberalism cannot be defended.

Hey, it's only worth 100,000 human lives annually.
A small price to pay to "feel good" about being "green" and clueless...

It is the same exact data Al Gore and the rest of the man-made global warmers refer to.This statement, and the graph is all that's necessary to totally destroy the Gorons...
Before the industrial revolution, what "man-caused" activities triggered the previous global warming and cooling cycles?
The controversy is not about global warming. That natural cycle is beyond dispute. Yet the Gorons keep beating that drum to scam the planet.

In the study, scientist Heidi N. Geisz and colleagues estimate that up to 2.0 - 8.8 pounds of DDT are released into coastal waters annually along the Western Antarctic Ice Sheet from glacial meltwater.Even if true that is insignificant to the point of extreme absurdity.
