"A 1987 census recorded 1.4 million Christians in Iraq, but the numbers began to drop after the 1990 Gulf War, reaching around 800,000 before the U.S. invaded began liberation operations in March 2003"

There...fixed.

Of an estimated 70,000 Iraqi Christians in Europe, nearly half are reported to live in Sweden.

If you want to get away from the Muslims, Sweden is not the place to go.

“Persecution at the hands of Islamic radicals — killings, church bombings, kidnappings, forced conversions and harassment — has prompted hundreds of thousands of Christians to flee the country since 2003. Although accurate statistics are unavailable, researchers believe the community may have been halved in the past five years.”

Somebody explain to me why our presence hasn’t made Iraq safer for Christians. Instead it appears it is more dangerous. Are we helping establish yet another radical Muslim country over there?

Don't see enough of the right people - out there and in power - who will impact this situation for the better.
