Which explains the similarity I see between fLDS and raising cattle—a few bulls, a lot of cows, and a fence to keep them all from getting away. Seems the YFZ ranch pretty much fit the bill, and now I know why. It was planned to be that way.

Exactly. Not like the fence was to keep out all the folks "sprinting" to join this cult.

If all the females that the mainstream Mormon cult also knew about mainstream Mormon eternal polygamy, there'd likewise be no rush to join that segment of this same cult, either--at least among females.

Hey, I’m with you. I think polygamy would be awful. My point was that people who concentrate on the political and philosophical arguments have their minds clouded with the world of ideas, while here on the ground, real people suffer.

...gay men adopting little boys to secretly have sex with...

Call me naive but I didn't think of that. These days, I'm willing to believe the worst, but I also want it substantiated. We can all speculate and play the guessing game, but there should be some verified facts.

The videos of past FLDS women would vouch for that. That are NOT free to walk away. One "escapee" described the smiling faces we see of the FLDS sister wives hide their real feelings of hurt and jealouy. Believe it or not!.
