WHAT BORDER PROTECTION?

Go visit the border before you spout more ignorance. Libertarianism means NO borders.

Not under a Barr administration!

I know Bob and — unlike your hero Jorge Bush who gave lip-service to US security, only grudgingly SLOWED the illegal INVASION — American SECURITY is one of his primary goals and a goal he’s prepared to go to the mat over with the PURE libertarians out there.

We could take over the LP like the RINOs took over the GOP

The next challenge, besides assiduously attacking both major political parties, is for Bob Barr and the Libertarian Party to also explain their differences compared to Chuck Baldwin and the Constitution Party. Like it or not, both Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin are competing for the same conservative voters as well as for all other voters. The pros and cons of Bob Barr, the Libertarian Party, Chuck Baldwin, and the Constitution Party all seriously need to be put on the political table for some serious discussions among conservatives.

ANY vote NOT for McCain, is a vote for the Democrat

Completely absurd reasoning.

Even if both of them want to suck your brains out, you have to vote for one of them - it's a two-party system.

I’ve had my fill of the Bush family. They have single-handedly destroyed the legacy of Ronald Reagan, and layed waste the Republican Party.
+1
The current Bush more than his father but they're both guilty.

From Bob’s website:

Secure the Borders
The current platform of the Libertarian Party paints a bright and accurate picture regarding the issue of immigration: “Our borders are currently neither open, closed, nor secure. This situation restricts the labor pool, encouraging employers to hire undocumented workers, while leaving those workers neither subject to nor protected by the law. A completely open border allows foreign criminals, carriers of communicable diseases, terrorists and other potential threats to enter the country unchecked. Pandering politicians guarantee access to public services for undocumented aliens, to the detriment of those who would enter to work productively, and increasing the burden on taxpayers.”
Resolving this issue will be a challenge for America as it means that we must be aggressive in securing our borders while at the same time, vigilantly fighting the nanny state that seeks to coddle even those capable of providing for their own personal prosperity.
Until all governments are willing to take a unified front to confront this problem, it is the duty of the federal government to secure our borders from criminals, terrorists and those seeking to take advantage of the American taxpayer.
