Hillary Clinton is still in the presidential race, she said today, because "historically, it makes no sense" to quit, and added that, "Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June," making an odd comparison between the dead candidate and Barack Obama.
"People have been trying to push me out since Iowa," she said to the Argus Leader's editorial board.

No, but it would make her a person of interest....oh wait, maybe that's what she's trying to acheive...
“I’d like to give her the benefit of the doubt but this ISN’T THE FIRST TIME she made the statement and to say it was because Ted Kennedy was on her mind is another Bosnia lie. Please note she said the following on March 6th, long before Ted Kennedy’s diagnosis.”

Good find!
And here’s what she said after the Indiana primary, held on May 6, 2008:
“But I also think it’s still early. I mean, everybody is so focused on where we are right now. I guess I remember that in June of 1992, that’s when Bill really wrapped up the nomination, the middle of June after the California primary. You know, I remember very well what happened in the California primary in 1968 as, you know, Senator Kennedy won that primary.”

She should get an MRI done over the long weekend...
probably would if he had 45% of the delegate count
We should write a book.
It’ll flow down the memory hole by then.
NBC news did a segment on her weird statement.
Looks like she and Bill had some pillow talk about her chances to get the nom. And that’s the only way they figure she’d have it...if someone took out Obama.
They have gotten away with so much——she thought she could get away with saying that.......and no one would pay attention.
But of course we have known for some time what the conniving Clintons are capable of.
It really isn’t that I don’t get it. I understand it. I agree with Rush’s operation in principal, absolutely. If it were being done to Obama, to Kennedy, to Kerry, to any of the other garden-variety moonbat liberals, I wouldn’t be at all concerned.
What I also believe a lot of you don’t get (or else you forgot, in your haste to demolish the NEXT threat before the most dangerous threat is neutralized) is that the Clintons are not just leftist, moonbat nutbags. They are far, far more.
I am convinced they are in that special category of evil reserved for very few in history (and I do mean the old-school evil—like Herod, Nero, Attila, Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, etc.) Yes, this is the 21st century, but evil still exists and some are more evil than others. How else could they continue to get away with the massive corruption and evil they engender?
They absolutely don’t give a sh*t about rules, precedent, consequences, and personal humiliation. I believe the only reason we FReepers (and other enemies of the Clinton mafia) aren’t contained in gulags pending extermination is because of the seperation of powers and the rights conferred in the constitution of this country, and the blessings of our God.
And let’s face it, those are under attack from every corner of the earth—most dangerously from within through Clintonites and their followers.
So playing this dangerous game with the devil, prolonging her/his political viability when she/he could have been dispatched before Texas and Ohio is just folly, as I’ve said before. Besides, they aren’t conceding anyway. She’ll take it to the SCOTUS, even after the convention. They would have done that without Rush’s operation. Chaos is guaranteed on their side, Rush just gave it a power jolt.
As above, I truly hope I am over-reacting to the danger, but from all I’ve seen, experienced, and studied about both Clintons, I just don’t think I’m far off.
Let’s all hope I’m wrong!
Clinton has intentionally opened the door for any nut to take it upon themselves to make sure she gets the nod. Really. Either that, or she has finally, totally, lost it.
After this gaffe, imho, Clinton has no business being in politics or any other remotely responsible position, period.
The Clinton Body Count List of course, as it was referred to for a good long while on this board.

I bet Obama is the jumpiest guy in America tonight.
I recall Bill Clinton accusing Obama of putting a “hit-job” on out on him during the Carolina primary. His exact words “HIT JOB.”
I just find that very curious. He said as if he’s very familiar with that kind of terminology.
The people I feel sorry for are the writers at SNL...how are they going to top that???
Is that you Snerdly? Heh, she’s a back stabber.
“Is she trying to foment an attempt by a more than typically unhinged Lib?”
Menopausal maniacal manchurian candidate?
UPDATE: After the uproar, Clinton came to the TV cameras to make a brief statement on her remarks.
Earlier today, I was discussing the Democratic primary history, and in the course of that discussion mentioned the campaigns that both my husband and Senator Kennedy waged in California in June in 1992 and 1968. And I was referencing those to make the point that we have had nomination, primary contests that go into June. Thats an historic fact.
The Kennedys have been much on my mind in the last days because of Senator Kennedy, and I regret that if my referencing that moment of trauma for our entire nation and particularly for the Kennedy family was in any way offensive. i certainly had no intention of that whatsoever.
My view is that we have to look to the past and to our leaders who have inspired us and give us a lot to live up to. And Im honored to hold Senator Kennedys seat in the United States Senate from the state of New York, And have the highest regard for the entire Kennedy family. Thanks.
Put a fork in her..she’s done. And if Obama were looking for a reason he doesn’t have to explain to check her off the short list of VP nominees, this is it.
