The press repeatedly applauded Jackie Kennedy for being the perfect wife, mother, and First Lady. They continually pointed out her beauty, her education, and her trend-setting fashion sense. Like Cindy McCain, Jackie Kennedy appeared at her husband’s side, but she wasn’t one to actively take part in speaking at campaign events. Of course, for the liberal media, those attributes were admirable because JFK was a Democrat. Cindy McCain exhibits similar behavior, and she’s labeled a “Stepford Wife.”

Cindy McCain is more than "a pretty face." She is the CEO of the family business, is actively involved with many charities, has adopted and/or found homes for many children; is a licensed pilot. She had a pre-nup when she married John--which I'm sure her father authored.

She is accomplished--without being married to a senator. After reading an article about her, I realized she doesn't need his "permission." He didn't know she had gotten a pilot's license until she took him for a flight. I got the impression she doesn't take any crap off John!

She preferred to live and raise their children in Arizona so he commutes.
