Boston - Amanda
Babe, tomorrow's so far away There's something I just have to say I don't think I can hide what I'm feelin' inside Another day, knowin' I love you And I, I'm getting too close again I don't want to see it end If I tell you tonight will you turn out the light And walk away knowin' I love you?
I'm gonna take you by surprise and make you realize, Amanda I'm gonna tell you right away, I can't wait another day, Amanda I'm gonna say it like a man and make you understand, Amanda I love you
And I feel like today's the day I'm lookin' for the words to say Do you wanna be free, are you ready for me To feel this way I don't wanna lose you So, it may be too soon, I know The feeling takes so long to grow If I tell you today will you turn me away And let me go? I don't wanna lose you
I'm gonna take you by surprise and make you realize, Amanda I'm gonna te ll you right away, I can't wait another day, Amanda I'm gonna say it lik e a man and make you understand, Amanda
You and I I know that we can't wait And I swear, I swear it's not a lie girl Tomorrow may be too late You, you and I girl We can share a life together It's now or never And tomorow may be too late
And, feelin' the way I do I don't wanna wait my whole life through To say I'm in love with you

Well that a good thing!
We had a salsa contest at work today and I had a free lunch.
A chicken tortilla casserole and a SWestern casserole and lots of salsas and chips

Jody Girl, buy the one and only Bob Seger.
Jody girl, Jody girl, spend your time today
Watching clocks spin the hours away.
Jody girl, you know the world's
Goin' around all day,
Thinking back to the things you used to say.
Didn't he put you on a pedestal,
When first you met?
Sure was some honeymoon,
Ain't it hard to forget?
What ever happened to that crazy boy
With the love light in his eyes?
Used to bring you flowers every day.
Now you sit here on a cloudy afternoon
Watchin' a soap opera on TV.
Your old man's workin'
And your kids are out playin'
And you're not feelin' too free.
Keep thinkin' back, thinkin' back to high school,
Them high school days.
All those wild, wild times you had.
All those boy friends, boy friends knockin' on your door.
Jody girl, Jody girl,
Spend your time today
Watchin' clocks spin the hours away.
Jody girl, you know the world's
Goin' by all day.
Thinkin' back to before you promised to stay.
Didn't he put you on a pedestal
When first you met?
Sure was some honeymoon -
Ain't it hard to forget?

Ozark Mountain Daredevils - Jackie Blue
Oooo-ahooo-hooo, Jackie Blue Lives her life from inside of her room Hides a smile when she's wearin' a frown Oooo, Jackie you're not so down
You like your life in a free-form style You'll take an inch but you'd love a mile There never seems to be quite enough Floating around to fill your lovin' cup
Oooo-ahooo-hooo, Jackie Blue What's a game girl, if you never lose Ask a winner and you'll probably find Oooo, Jackie they've lost at sometime
Don't try to tell me that you're not aware Of what you're doing and that you don't care You say it's easy, just a natural thing Like playing music, but you never sing
Oooo-ahooo-hooo, Jackie Blue Making wishes that never come true Going places where you've never been Oooo, Jackie Blue, you're going again
[Musical Interlude]
Oooo-ahooo-hooo, Jackie Blue Lives her life from inside of her room Makes you think that her life is a drag Oooo, Jackie, what fun you have had
Oooo, Jackie, oooo Jackie, oooo, Jackie Oooo, Jackie...

We hav a Clementine in our family :)
My Darlin’ Clementine
In a cavern, in a canyon,
Excavating for a mine
Dwelt a miner forty niner,
And his daughter Clementine
Oh my darling, oh my darling,
Oh my darling, Clementine!
Thou art lost and gone forever
Dreadful sorry, Clementine
Light she was and like a fairy,
And her shoes were number nine,
Herring boxes, without topses,
Sandals were for Clementine.
Oh my darling, oh my darling,
Oh my darling, Clementine!
Thou art lost and gone forever
Dreadful sorry, Clementine
Drove she ducklings to the water
Ev’ry morning just at nine,
Hit her foot against a splinter,
Fell into the foaming brine.
Oh my darling, oh my darling,
Oh my darling, Clementine!
Thou art lost and gone forever
Dreadful sorry, Clementine
Ruby lips above the water,
Blowing bubbles, soft and fine,
But, alas, I was no swimmer,
So I lost my Clementine.
Oh my darling, oh my darling,
Oh my darling, Clementine!
Thou art lost and gone forever
Dreadful sorry, Clementine
How I missed her! How I missed her,
How I missed my Clementine,
But I kissed her little sister,
I forgot my Clementine.
Oh my darling, oh my darling,
Oh my darling, Clementine!
Thou art lost and gone forever
Dreadful sorry, Clementine.

Rosanna by Toto was a song about Rosanna Arquette. She was dating Steve Porcaro the keyboard player. When they broke up, David Paish, another Toto band member, wrote the song about Rosanna and David.
Rosanna went on to have a relationship with Peter gabriel too.
In the Toto video about Rosanna notice the 'West Side Story' motif (Natalie Wood) and the dancing female is Cynthia Rhodes who was in the movie Dirty Dancing and did the difficult dance parts in the movie Flash Dance.
