SAN ANGELO, Texas - An underpinning of the state's case for taking hundreds of FLDS children into custody continued to weaken Tuesday as officials acknowledged four more women whose ages were disputed are adults - including one who is 27.
Oh yeah, I've noticed.
My thing is, is if children are being molested, the perpetrators need to be dealt with; harshly.
However, that possibility does NOT allow Texas CPS to do any d@mn thing it wants to.

Something we agree on. This whole case is sad and for the sake of the children, I hope all ends well. That would mean that if abuse is proven that the abusers are punished. If there are responsible non abusing parents, that they get their kids back.

I realize this was put out by FLDS but it shows the rifles of the swat teams and law enforcement who rounded up all the women and children at the ranch that day. I am looking for a picture of the “armored personnel carrier” (aka tank).

According to the the article, she gave her DL to CPS on the first day. They chose to disbelieve her then, but suddenly believe her now. What changed?
Not a dang thing but the exposure to lawsuits. What CPS did rises to the level of kidnapping, felony style.

There was no “horrible abuse” in the unsigned reports from the Mental Health/Mental Retardation workers. At worst, the MHMR workers thought the CPS workers were “high handed and rude.” The MHMR workers seemed horrified that CPS took notes!

I haven’t seen any of the pro-CPS folks who think this is a problem. But at least if you complain about adults being illegally incarcerated against their will without criminal charges, they won’t call you a child abuse apologist.

You are exactly correct.
Do you have proof of that? Something other than a statement from CPS -- now that it's clear the CPS can't be trusted to tell the truth.

If it’s indefensible, there should be no “but” and you shouldn’t be so quick to defend organized child sexual abuse.
We can’t wait for the time that delays and motions and what you see as “due process” in criminal trials when we’re dealing with child abuse. Sure: let’s wait ‘till another girl is “spiritually joined.” while the leaders are tried and found guilty.
The problem is the systematic lies and confusion encountered by CPS as to who is what age, who is who -— Who actually makes up the families -— combined with the 14 year old who is pregnant, the girl who asks one of the men what her age is, the other kids who don’t seem to know how old they are, who their fathers are, or their own names.
