I have to be honest. I’m leaning towards Romney.

Mitt is the only one I would consider voting for the ticket.

“I have to be honest. I’m leaning towards Romney.”

I have to be honest as well. If he picks Romney or (even better) someone more conservative than Mitt, I’d have to consider voting Republican this year.

Romney??!! With all the anti-Mormon press setting the word “crazy” into the public awareness of that group, with Romney’s quotes about John McCain available on video (”He’ll say anything to be president”—Mitt on John), and with all of Romney’s flip-flopping-flipping-again on issue after issue, he’ll drag the ticket down to a depth of voter unease that even McCain won’t recognize it.

But maybe I just don’t like the guy. Fred Thompson is my choice, and McCain owes him for blocking for him on his end runs to the end-zone of the nomination.

I have to be honest. I’m leaning towards Romney.

The most accomplished liberal Governor in the history of the republic.

I have to be honest. I’m leaning towards Romney.

His economic experience as well as his experience in dealing with liberal legislatures does make him very qualified for dealing with our current situation.

There are obviously a lot of people who are unsure or unhappy about what direction he might want to lead us in, but he is at least qualified.

I think the FLDS controversy down in Texas might make McCaimn more cautious about putting him on the ticket.

Yes the FLDS sect (cult) isn't the same as the LDS, but the LDS itself raises concerns for a lot of Americans, and the FLDS situation focuses more attention on Romney's faith than is helpful to the campaign.
