Thans for the tips BIGs, if I decide to renovate the entire lawn this fall I will keep them in mind. I am really pleased with the way this particuar grass has taken off, especially since it was mostly clay on top.

I used is a tall fescue blend and I used some Vigoro lawn mulch stuff in place of straw. The Mulch looked a lot like rabbit food! But it seems to have worked.

I would rather put down green asphalt but Mrs alfa6 said it would be to hard on the grandkiddies :-)
