Extrapolating your analogy further. The first Sino-Indian war is similar to the earlier Franco-Prussian war.

I look forward to the subsequent humiliating ass kicking that the Indians are about to receive.

India is not aggressor here. You guys are. You are occupying our land as we speak.

I can understand a Chinese person in China succumbing to propaganda from commie machinery. But why is it that even overseas Chinese also seem to be brainwashed with the same propaganda. Take for instance the Tibet issue. Thousands of Chinese in US have supported the Chinese atrocities despite having access to free media from multiple sources that reported how Chinese govt. has suppressed and screwed the Tibetean people. People living in China might have no access to such information and are constantly bombarded with propaganada. But why are overseas Chinese behaving like this? I will never hesitate to demonstrate against my govt. if it indulges in such things. The more I look at this, the more it feels like Chinese are themselves happy being under commie unlike what people in west think - that Chinese people hate communism. Maybe its not worth ‘liberating’ the Chinese from the scourge of communism. Maybe they just like to be under a fascist rule with no human rights or freedoms.

Otherwise what explains the behavior of overseas Chinese regarding the Olympic rally and Tibet. How can they still believe the propaganda of Chinese govt. despite living in open societies outside and having access to free media?
