President Bush reiterated the United States' "unbreakable" alliance with the Jewish state and denounced calls to negotiate with "terrorists and radicals." Not to rain on everyone's Bush praise parade, but isn't this essentially what Bush has Rice doing with the Palestinians while strong-arming Israel to give up more land for "peace"? I wish he would apply his statements in this speech consistently across the board.

Israel has said they will go to the ‘67 borders only with the Palestinians and only without Hamas in charge of the new Palestinian land. If Hamas is in charge of any new country they will use that country to destroy Israel and that's why they can't be reasoned with. Gaza is such a narrow strip of land that they really can't launch a full scale attack on Israel.
