Ann gets it right... when will alleged “conservatives” in these districts stop falling for Democrats who “run right?”
When the GOP gets off its gold plated pedestal and decides to start backing conservatives.
Republicans will continue to lose until they grow a backbone and learn to effectively deal with liberal mud slinging.
I simply can not imagine that any conservative running for office does not expect to be called a racist, homophobic, misogynistic baby killer.
Every criticism of Obama...or that even invokes Obama’s name...is “racist” doncha know.

“Black nationalists” have many similarities to Nazi brownshirts. They believe in irrationality, racial myths, and anti-Semitism. They rely on violence or the threat of violence to advance their cause. They foster paranoid conspiracy theories, fear dissent, and encourage groupthink.
Ann is at her best when she uses facts to rip RATS. Maybe we should run pseudo-liberals to counter the Rats pseudo-conservatives.

Not really. The reality is that the GOP strategy of trying to inject the Obama-Wright issue into local-state-district elections is not going to work.
Second, it is not conservatives who are falling for Democrats who "run right", it is the right wing populists.
If voters are dumb enough to fall for the “conservative Democrat” myth then they get what they deserve. Unfortunately they will drag all of us down. Perhaps it will take a few years of socialism, $10 gas, ever increasing taxes, and losses of personal freedoms before the pendulum swings the other way and the Reid/Pelosi forces get thrown out. Sadly though 1980/1994 style elections don’t happen too often.
Even Juan Williams on Fox said Tuesday night that if you say anything against Obama the mainstream media will call you a racist pig. Juan Williams, for heaven’s sake!
So what? How many people in Missouri who might have voted for the Republican candidate read the New York Times the day of the election at all, never mind read it and then switched their vote?
Mainly because so many people are too stupid to understand that electing any Democrat, at any level of government, always empowers the far left. Even with the RINOs in Congress giving the GOP a majority, conservatives had a voice. With the Democrat party running the show now, where do all these fake conservative Democrats get to impose a conservative agenda, even if they really wanted to? That hasn't, and will never, happen.
Ann pointed out this "technique". I assume Ann is also smart enough to know that calling Pubbies racists is a "technique" of the left.
Politics ain't pretty. The Dems won this won. Is the Pubbie "technique" more "fair" than the Rat one?. One of Ann's dumber columns. I guess her morale is low. But pictures are always nice.
