Good news update .....
John Robinson called to tell me his Dad was out of surgery and everything went well. I asked if there was any other info that he could share. He said ....
Well he has an appetite. I said “You mean he is eating?” John “Yeah .... you want to talk to him?”
I would never have guessed that I would be able to talk to Jim tonight.
I gave Jim a few personal messages and he was please to hear them.
The leg had to be removed above the knee instead of below the knee as had been planned. When they got inside, they said the infection had spread into his muscles and they had to remove all of the infected area to stop the spread.
Jim said they must still have him doped because he was not in any pain.
I told him to rest well tonight knowing that all FReepers and several Former Freepers are praying for him.
I also told him that he should have just given me a list of all FReepers for my ping list! ;^ )
He laughed and said he didn’t think of that.
