Jim has his laptop in the room, but he is not allowed to use it, except downstairs in one area. So Jim will be online once he is allowed downstairs. That should be in a few day.
Jim, you and Sheila and your whole family are in my prayers. You have an inner core of steel that has brought you through more than most have to deal with, and as tough a decision as this is, I have faith that you’ll weather this storm as well. We need you back at the helm, Cap’n!

Now, this may seem ridiculous, but could someone please pass this along to the family tonight? Tonight, or sometime BEFORE they take Jim in the morning to put him under for the surgery, take a sharpie and write a big note on his GOOD leg, something like “STOP! Not this leg!” Some hospitals may even do this routinely these days, but it seems like cheap insurance to take care of it yourself.
Will be praying for good results and a rapid recovery.
