If this bunch of idiots gets in power because conservatives don’t vote for McCain..they deserve the tax increases, gun grabing, humilitation and general bullshit that will come. This is about National survival. We stand a little chance with McCain, but no chance with Obama and this silky pony.

I have to agree with you. I don't like it at all, but I have to agree. I hate the son of a bitch that the Republicans have seen fit to make their standard bearer - but the fact is that 30% "all right" is better than 0% - the utter disaster that Obama would be as President. I will drink myself into a ****ing stupor if I have to, but I'll vote for McCain if only to prevent what I am certain would be a national nightmare. It sickens me to even think about it, but we have only two real choices this year - Pretty Bad and Far Worse. With that vote of confidence, I urge my fellow FReepers to pull the lever this fall for the undependable, treacherous SOB who at least recognizes that America is good and worth defending.
