I have been encouraged by some of the knowledgeable comments here. This is both for and against my native country. Good when such a touchy subject has seen fair comment.

I think it apt to remark on the bombing of the King David Hotel. It is true that the switchboard operator got a warning about a bomb. So many false alarms had been received generally about bombs, it was thought it was just another one.

It is a matter of conjecture as to whether the terrorists knew this. Herewith the figures of the dead.

41 Palestinians.
28 British
17 Jews
4 various Egyptian, Armenian and Turkish.

Tragically for Britain, the term that would have drastically help turn the propaganda war, was this one. It was unknown at that time, I believe.

Peace Keepers.

There propbably would have been a few million more returning later but the Germans and the Craz had other ideas.

Actually, the Germans had no objection to the Jews going to Palestine. All most of them had to do was turn over most of their assets to the Nazis, and they were free to begin the journey. It was the British navy that blocked things at the other end. The policy continued until shortly after the outbreak of hostilities in World War II.

“It wasn’t terrorism. It was an insurgent act against the headquarters of a military occupation.
The Irgun agents set the bomb and then called the British and French. The French left the building. The British hid the warning from their own men inside as well as civilians. They they chose to bet on human shields, like the cowards they were.”

You’re deluded. Essentially this is the same arguments that the insurgents in Iraq use, ‘one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter’ and all that.
Just another anti-british nutter who gets on his soapbox!

No. The occupier always calls those seeking liberation terrorists. Outsiders judge them according to their means and ends.
And no, I don't hate Britain. I love England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. I went to an english-style prep school and learned the Kings and Queens of England from Alfred to the current occupants of the House of "Windsor".
I care about Britains traditional cultures and support them more than the traitorous Labour Party, the congenital liars and revanchist known as the SNP and Plaid Cymru. I'm just this side of Nick Griffin.
