What a waste of taxpayers dollars. If the government can lie to us, we should be able to lie to them.

That is so true; the government gets so honked off when we lie to them but they lie all the time. Like “I’m from the government, I’m here to help you.”

One point to remember. Most state criminal prosecution is 10 Commandment based “Thou shalt not kill”/”Thou shalt not steal.” All Federal prosecution is Sovereignty based: “How dare you object to the authority of the government of the United States to rule your insignificant life.”

Example; Terry McVay, Oklahoma City Bomber, killed over 100 people, and got executed. For murder? No. His crime, as charged?

Destruction of Federal Government Property. The crime was blowing up the building. The result of multiple deaths got him the cot.

What a load. Leave Barry alone. Stupid jerks who charged him are probably all alchoholics on oxycontin.

Great job by the feds. I feel a lot safer taking my kids out to play now that those dangerous left fielders on steroids hitting a ball have been taken off the streets.

I'm with y'all on this. As if the gub'ment has nothing better to do than to prosecute a *private* citizen engaging in a *private* enterprise (baseball) which does, but shouldn't have, governmental 'oversight' in its operation.

Not that I'm defending Barry ... he's a jerk ... but so was Ted Williams and Ty Cobb and hundreds of others who played in the Major Leagues thruout history. Let Baseball take care of its own problems internally instead of the stoopit government getting involved in something that they really have no business getting involved in. Oh, and if the gub'ment *really* wanted to do something meaningful -- cut MLB loose from that 'antitrust exemption' and let the free market sort it all out on its own ... otherwise, the gov'ment should concentrate its resources on actually doing something productive, for a change, like honoring and upholding their oath to the Constitution!

..... anyway .... /rant off :)
