CALL TO ACTION FOR FLORIDA'S PARENTS AND CHILDREN:

Freepers, Evelyn Lynne of the Fla Legislature is not looking out for Florida families. Then again, by the time politicians get to Tallahassee, they go there to re-invent the wheel.

Senate Bill 2532 is a way to separate mothers from their children. The term "custody" is replaced by parenting plans that are costly because of the amount of people dragged into the dissolution of marriage and custody issues. The parent with the biggest cash flow wins. They might not be the best parent but it's all about who can keep paying and paying for parenting plans that go far beyond what is necessary.

My question is: what if neither parent can afford the pricey parenting plan? Does the child end up in Foster Care or do either of the parents land in jail?

There's a PROTEST IN TALLAHASSEE tomorrow at 10:00 am in front of the CAPITAL BLDG. If you are near Tallahassee, drop by.

Divorce is bad enough but re-assigning custody according to the one who has the most Monopoly Hotels is wrong.

Ms. Evelyn has no shame. I'm thinkin' the psychologist lobby is in her pocket. Experts paid by the parents (in the thousands of dollars) will all benefit financially every time a parenting plan is initiated.

Gov. Crist can veto SB 2532. If you want the State of Florida to stay out of your wallet, urge him to vetoSB 2532.

It's bad for children too. Mothers who are fit and love their kids are losing them because the father essentially outbids the mom. That is justice denied. It's kids to the highest bidder. Sorry, but kids need their moms, especially girls. The only winners are the EXPERTS the State of Florida forces the parents to subsidize.

Charlie Crist's fax 850-922-4292.

Not familiar with the Florida bill. But Tennessee has parenting plans, and they are standardized. They make you think about how you handle holidays and school breaks and they specifically define vistitation rights and times.

I would think these would reduce the amount of additional litigation.

Now if TN would just pass the presumption of equal custody law. Sounds like Florida needs to too.

psychologists that are designed to protect the children.

You forgot the 'barf alert'....didn't hardly get thru the first paragraph before I hit the nanny state, marxist garbage! No wonder Crist sounds like a marxist nowadays, he has to deal with these maroons! Won't be in Tallahassee, but g'luck w/ the protest, I'll be there in spirit! My recommendation is for you to get McCollum on your side, he should be there. I can't imagine this stuff fits his values!

Says who? I'm a mother, and recognize this to be what it is: emotional pandering.

Who says kids need their moms more than their dads?

At first I thought that infomercial guy, Billy Mays, had to change his words.

Then I figured out that Bill Clinton has decided to stop using loaded words.
