Sorry, but I disagree. Even if UCC is found guilty of campaign finance problems that won't do diddly-squat to Obama's campaign changes. It will be a total non-event. And not JUST because the MSM will sweep it under a rug, but also because EVERY campaign falls afoul of these laws at one time or another. EVERY campaign ends up having to give money back. The regs are absurd and normal Americans will not be swayed from voting for their candidate of choice based on the findings of some appointed bureacrat in the IRS or FEC: NO MATTER HOW FACTUALLY CORRECT THEY ARE.
Thats the facts. This isn't the smoking gun, sorry.

Having a national church (the ENTIRE UCC, not just the Chicago branch) lose its tax exemption because of Obama’s willful misuse of its resources will be a non-event??? Only if our side is too weak-willed (what Machievelli calls ozio, the opposite of virtu) to do anything with it.

I agree with you. This is not the coup de grace. It’s a minor cut.

I also agree with you. People know instinctively that the campaign finance laws are absurd. If anything, the very existence of these laws disqualifies McCain from office.
And, McCain himself fell afoul of his own laws.
So, no, this isn’t the knockout punch.
