I just hope some good will come out of this, like a better building code for all buildings. What would happen is one of the tall buildings in Shanghai got hit by an earthquake?
Nightline had a report on the China earthquake. I think they said the school was a secondary school, with a number killed, buy a number also rescued. There was a lot of talk about building codes which apparently have been improved in recent years, but not 20 years ago when the building boom began.
