I understand the traditional fears of letting in foreign governments and armed forces helicopters into your country to help out, but it is a shame that there is such fears between peoples when they need help.

I tried to imagine being in a natural disaster, and having a Chinese helicopter drop food and water to me. That would be the last thing I would expect, and it might possibly put me over the edge.

LOL. I would probably assume the food and water were poisoned, and worry about how our Air Force, obviously, couldn't fight them off.

And there you have the future scenario that will be the harbinger of a peaceful world — all countries, even China, helping all other countries when they suffer a massive disaster.
