To: DavFeng thx for your answering, I’m a mainland chinese but I’m not a “commie”...well...I have to say that I ’m somewhat disappointed at the gov. here in china...What they concern about is more about ideology but not the people...like this time... right after this kind of tragedy, the Olympic torch rely and celebrating kept on...and rumors say that for fear of “spies” the gov banned foreign rescue teams from entering the country...I don’t even know how stupid they’re gonna be... ________________________________________________________________ you speak more like a radical in China. I know our gov. had many fault before,some even worse.And surely it will be so now and in future. But I also know if I am the governnor I may do worse.We are a developing country with many difficulty to overcome.Blaming is helpless.It's a huge country with mass amount people of all kinds.Anything bad could happen. As what i know from the history and humanities,autarchy is the best answer to China in this time.A stupid gov. won't make china like now in only fifty years.Think deeply for each side,be tolerant and cogitative. Democracy is good,but not in western type.It's not suitable for china at least now.Maybe another fifty year later.When we are more prepared. “commie” are not the pronoun of devil.They are also some people with good wish to make everyone's life better.Today's China is a choice of histroy.Ask it why and study it.Don't speak before you think,sometimes it makes things worse.Not everything is so simple to make a judgement on it as black or white. I am a common citizen,if without the torch relay issue in Paris,i don't care Politics at all.I have to work hard,to make money,to buy house,i have no time and energy to spend time on politics.Before,i admired western democracy(free/justice),and always debase our own system(bureaucratism).Great changes took place on my thoughts after the untruth news in some medias.I began to review what happend around me;i began to find the truth with my own brain,my own seeing;I began to give more tolerance to our own system. To be honest,it took 30 years for the real development in China from 1978 with the open reformation policy,and i didn't deny Gov has made several mistakes in the previous decades.She made mistake,and she corrected it and tries to make progress for people.Although many proplems still exist,but she is keeping improving.30 or 60 years are too short.Roman is not built in one day! I was born in a farmer family in northwest province in 1982,and i have experienced the great changes around me.We only had one flat room when i was in primary school,three in middle school,and a building with two floors in university.The shoes before middle school were all made by my mother by her own hands,now,i can buy shoe leather whichever i like. Before,it's very hard for farmers to see a doctor,as it's expensive.Now with a insurance of CNY10.00(less than USD1.5) every year,farmers can enjoy the hospitalization insurance with 60% paid by gov,and the refunding money could be obtained when they leave the hospital,it's very fast.Before,farmers have to hand in taxes ,now no need,there are about 800 million farmers in China. With above examples,i don't want to pay a tribute to gov,i just want to let more people see China with impersonal views,more fair-and-square.Many of people share the same opinion with me. Take this earthquake rescues as an example,i'was moved by our premier,and more than 90% people are moved by him,an old man over 60.The sad earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale struck the Si Chuan province of China at 2:28pm on May 12, 2008.Primier arrived there around 7pm the same day,and began to rescue.The bad weather and complicated landscape add much difficulties to the rescue work,especially the blocked traffic,no access to the epicenter. He instructed the soldier to arrive at the epeicenter before 00:00 may 14,and the soldier made it.More than 200 rescue team arrived at the disaster center at 23:15(55) on May.12,and much more arrived at this dawn.It's not easy.When you read below story,you may image the difficulty for them to make it.300 paratroopers are sent out,4 dead,10 abscondence,and the rest 136 proceeded.It's heard that these paratroopers prepared posthumous writings before they left. Some domestic medias reported the earthquake 24hours one day,and every Chinese is attracted by this.Luckily,many people and companies have made much donations,such as money,supplies.
