I rebooted and the magnified view on my desktop is still there. All I was doing was typing and posting using the mouse pad when this view changed on me. So I installed a mouse and did that scrolling thing and it only increases/decreases the text size. There is something else that changes the overall view size (90%...100%...etc.) and I can't find it on this laptop.

Just reading your colloquy, if the problem is just with your browser, go to the tool bar, where it says "page" click on that and scroll down to "zoom", click on that and it should say 100%, if it doesn't, change it and that should fix it.

The only reason I chimed in was all that I was reading, nobody suggested this, I hope it solves your problem.

I went to “help” (the one in the Start Menu) and looked up the word “Magnifier.” Found out how to turn it on. Played with it a while.

I was able to turn it off by right-clicking in it. A little “pop up” menu appears, and one of it’s choices is “Exit.” Just click on “Exit” and Magnifier mode disappears.

If you’re not using Windows, ignore this post.

It's late in the day and I have been away so your problem may be solved by the time I get to the end of today's posting; however, the 100% thing is down on the lower right side on my computer.
