There's nothing like a couple of 100 lb German Shepherds to increase security in the yard.They will fight to their deaths to stop any intruder.I remember a few years ago how one took on a 10 foot alligator protecting a small child.The dog got killed but the child escaped unharmed.

There's nothing like a couple of 100 lb German Shepherds to increase security in the yard.

Mine is only about 70 pounds but she's not letting anybody near the kids. She hasn't attacked anybody, but the UPS, Fed EX and all the pizza guys leave in a hurry when she's just sitting at the door smiling and cocking her head to one side...... that's after she sounds like she's going to eat through the door.hahahahhahahahhaa.

These guys are also very very very good when it comes to Coyotes. The Norwegian Elkhound seems to have an innate desire to hunt and kill them. If you have one of these in your yard you will not have any Coyotes or other large game around. You do have to brush them daily, however their coats are almost odorless.
