"Within days, I sensed that something wasn't right," relates Annie's mother, Barbara Farlow. "I didn't think that the decision-making process was appropriate. How could it be that we were told Annie's trachea was fine and she had pneumonia in the emergency department, and then 24 hours later this diagnosis had been reversed in the ICU?
