I recall when Ronald Reagan made such stops, the press incessantly trained their attention and cameras on any empty spaces they could find to try to show a small crowd. Their greatest fantasy would be something like this, headline news! But the opposite happened. Guess I should check out the headlines...

Lynchburg, VA (LifeNews.com) -- For the new Barack Obama "faith tour" to have any success, it needs to be able to draw young and evangelical voters. Yet, at its first stop in the Virginia back yard of well-known pastor Jerry Falwell, just 15 people showed up for the event.

The Obama campaign has signed up evangelical author Donald Miller, Pepperdine University professor Doug Kmiec and former Indiana Congressman Tim Roemer, for the "Barack Obama: Faith, Family and Values Tour."........

But first is it fair to state we conservatives have a virtual monopoly on good looks? I say, yes! Day Gardner is former Miss Delaware and a beauty like Sarah Palin. The leftists have to settle for winners of Halloween contests.

Day Gardner is a wonderful advocate for life, has taken a stand for Lauren Richardson. Meanwhile as we await news of Lauren, we can take solice that no news is not bad news, except for the suboptimum care she is likely receiving while waiting. Thread by wagglebee.

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A leading African-American pro-life advocate says presidential candidate Barack Obama continues to mislead the public about his votes on an abortion-infanticide bill. Obama has been tagged over the bill all election, and it involves making sure infants who survive abortions get proper medical care.

Obama voted four times against the bill during his tenure in the Illinois legislature and was the only member of the body to speak against it on the floor.

The issue has been involved in back-and-forth television ads, with a woman who survived a failed abortion saying Obama's votes targeted her and Obama's campaign responding, calling the woman and McCain, "sleazy, despicable liars."

On Monday, Day Gardner, president of The National Black Pro-Life Union, told LifeNews.com that Obama's comments about why he voted against the bill don't square up with the facts.........
