Barack Obama won the North Carolina Democratic primary Tuesday, FOX News projects, preventing Hillary Clinton from staging an election-day upset in the Tar Heel State.
Clinton took the lead in Indiana, but it was still too early to call the race.
The two states are the last big contests on the primary calendar and together offer the final chance for the candidates to make a serious dent in the delegate counts.
Both candidates were faring well among bases usually loyal to their campaigns Tuesday.
In Indiana, Clintons advantage is based on groups that have supported her in earlier primaries white women, white working-class voters and rural voters.
With 63 percent of precincts reporting, Clinton led 54-to-46 percent.

[So will the fat lady sing this week,..]
Who knows, judging by day to day news! Last night I read that she had canceled all appearances for Wednesday and Thursday, and today on Drudge I read that no Super delegates want to meet with her, lol!
Just checked in here and have not read any threads so am behind on all news.
“Who knows, judging by day to day news! Last night I read that she had canceled all appearances for Wednesday and Thursday, and today on Drudge I read that no Super delegates want to meet with her, lol!”
Why would she make a 6 million $ loan to herself if she is going to drop out.
She is probably cancelling appearances to raise money via her collection of FBI files.

Lol
Well the loan was before Indiana and NC, but today she did make a speech about NOT dropping out so the fight goes on!
.
I am the last person to defend Hillary
But Hillary is spending money she got for her books - lousy books or not
Obama is outspending Hillary 4:3 with Muslim money from abroad - but not one red cent of his own
Obama ran 6-8 TV ads a day in Florida when Hillary, Edwards, Obama all agreed not to campaign in Florida or run ads
Hillary won Florida by 17%
Obama and Edwards dropped out of the Michigan primaries because they both knew they had zero chance of beating Hillsary there
But now Obama wants 50% of any Michigan delegates!
And Obama denies he ran any TV ads in Florida!
So Howie Dean refuses to seat any Florida or Michigan delegates
And insists Hillary drop out now
But years ago Ted Kennedy was behind 700 delegates (!!!) and still went to the DNC Convention to challenge the primary voting!
Focus
Put emotions aside
Do not replay 2006 again
I think anyone who fights for anything has emotions involved. Even we here fighting for a candidate, or fighting against one.
Emotionless would be just not caring at all.
Words from the ‘Wizard-less’, lol
