Likewise, Darwinian philosopher Daniel Dennett calls Darwin's views the "universal acid" that erodes traditional moral convictions rooted in the dignity of the human person. His strictly biological assessment of human worth lets Dennett speaks of the "gradations of value in the ending of human lives," as he offers a case for euthanasia.

Nearly ALL Darwinists are supporters of the culture of death in all its evil manifestations.

"Nearly ALL Darwinists are supporters of the culture of death in all its evil manifestations."

Well, they all are if they believe that mutation and 'natural selection' are responsible for life.

'Natural selection' is merely differential death and evolution is essentially 'creation by death'.

Exactly the opposite of creation by a living God and is to be expected considering the source of the idea.

I know that Stein tried to popularize his point, but I expect that most of the movie went over the heads of most of the audience.

n his chapter on "Nation and Race" in "Mein Kampf," Adolf Hitler described the struggle for existence in Darwinian terms:

Marxist/Leninism depends on the theory of evolution. Karl Marx made it very clear that Darwin's Origin of Species contained the scientific basis for his views on the class struggle.

Right - the prisons are just packed full of biology majors and paleontologists who are remorseless killers, and have no regard for human life. Ridiculous argument, seeking to dehumanize people who don’t reject evolution as amoral - sounds like an argument Jerimiah Wright would make.

Despicable it may be, but accurate and substantial.

According to Darwin, the survival of the fittest is the engine for progress for men as well as the rest of the animal kingdom.

Wrong:

When two tribes of primeval man, living in the same country, came into competition, if (other circumstances being equal) the one tribe included a great number of courageous, sympathetic and faithful members, who were always ready to warn each other of danger, to aid and defend each other, this tribe would succeed better and conquer the other. ... Selfish and contentious people will not cohere, and without coherence nothing can be effected. A tribe rich in the above qualities would spread and be victorious over other tribes ... It must not be forgotten that although a high standard of morality gives but a slight or no advantage to each individual man and his children over the other men of the same tribe, yet that an increase in the number of well-endowed men and an advancement in the standard of morality will certainly give an immense advantage to one tribe over another.
You see, he thought the ability to aid one another, to have sympathy and morality (pretty much the opposite of eugenics) trumps the physical perfection and intelligence that the eugenics movement wants. It is together as a cohesive, sympathetic and moral society that we have the most strength (good Christians should recognize this concept). Individual "enhancements" through eugenics are pretty much ineffective, and even counter-productive if forced, as that violates the morality and sympathy of the society.

Besides, if you want to blame someone, blame the Spartans. They are the first known practitioners of eugenics, and they died out because of it.

please explain why Hitler never mentioned Darwin, but often attributed his policies to “the creator”.

More ID propaganda to try and give Expelled free publicity as it sinks. Why is Ben Stein in hiding?

This is outrageous!

Let’s get our pitchforks and torches and surround Darwin’s castle. He and his monstrous creation must be destroyed!

.

In the meantime, I wonder if anyone has tried to figure out why isolated groups of animals tend to become different from others?

Hitler never mentions Darwin by name? If Darwin was the foundation of Nazism you claim, why wouldn’t Adolf give credit?

BTW, the Soviets arrested people and worse for teaching Darwinism. They thought he was as much a threat to their political philosophy as you apparently do. The Soviets replaced the teaching of Darwin with something called Lysenkoism - as much of a fraud to science as I.D.

The cult of death beget a culture of death. And the only way to rehab someone infected is through surprisingly enough, death. The free men of Pershing and Roosevelt’s time understood this. We let a Guatanamo cultist free and what did we get for our efforts? He blew himself up along with a dozen people in Iraq the other day. One way cruise ship to the Cayman Trench departing from Guatanamo sounds about right.

The movie is a box office dud, and the attempt to paint Darwin to Hitler was a very bonehead move.

You see, it insults the intelligence of a lot of people.

Not those, of course, who have seized on ID as the Trojan Horse to reintroduce creationism into the classroom using any tactic, but to the average American.

The truth is, and you can’t accept it, is that millions of people are both conservatives and accept evolution as the accepted scientific theory.

Even the Catholic Church is okay with it.

Munch on those trilobites.
