Unbelievable.
When the New Jerusalem comes down out of the sky in the Book of Revelation, you have to wonder if it isn’t going to land a little further to the east and crush Baghdad. That is unless Israel hasn’t already taken care of that in advance.
(Please no corrections to my theology, I know it’s wrong, just making a point.)

The promise to Abraham (or maybe “Abram” at the time, can’t remember) a land from the river of Eqypt (not the Nile, the “other” river, which is a bit closer) all the way to the Euphrates.
