Rush’s own ego has gotten so big that he feels infallible. He views himself as a God of sorts. He can not believe everyone does not ‘see’ things as clearly as he does, and I believe he suffers from a form of mental illness. Whether it is the meds again, or his being so removed from normal life, but something has rattled his stability.
