It amazes me that Rush takes credit when that’s agreeable and denies responsibility when that’s agreeable.

The crossover vote doesn’t affect the “winner” of the race, that’s probably true. But this race is about delegates, superdelegates and perception. And the closer the numbers are (i.e., every crossover vote affected that), the more those three things are influenced toward the Witch.

Rush can’t bring himself to just tell his audience “vote for conservatives for congress, otherwise take the year off”, so he’s come up with this silly “operation chaos”, a juvenile distraction which achieves nothing constructive, and risks harming the reputations of all involved.
We need to figure out what is the least bad result for the country we love, and do our best to make it happen. If McCain were running as a Democrat or Independent I’d be inclined to vote for him over Clinton, but since he is running as a Republican I am concerned that his actions in office will permanently ruin the reputation of the party. So I haven’t decided what to do yet. It’s a tough one.
