I disagree. AS I said, Hillary won’t get the nominee as superdupes do not have the guts to alienate blacks even they know he’s going to be a disastrous loser. Having said that, it’s good to let Obama lose one primary after another, as we are exposing his weakness among white votes, and media will be just a bit careful when they decide to fawn over their messiah coming into November.
It’s all about pulling him down to the earth. Mark my word, he will be the nominee.
That’s my point, we WANT Obama to be the candidate. He can’t win because he won’t get the white working class vote. I think McCain trumps him there. Obama can’t win without them and he won’t get them.
Whites will vote, and vote McCain. In a way, each of these votes count twice; one less for the democrats, one more for McCain. Blacks may not vote for Hilary, but won’t vote for McCain either. Those “non-votes” are only a single win. And that’s somewhat diluted, because to the extent blacks do vote, they will still vote democrat.
Hilary can win. Obama cannot. That’s my take.
IN has more electoral votes than NC, and NC has a huge black population. The writing is on the wall that Obama cannot win in the Midwest amongst white voters.
Urban centers already go for dems, so a big hit elsewhere cannot be sustained. On the other hand, if the superdelegates throw Obama under the bus because they see the wreck coming, then they create an entirely different wreck by having a depressed urban center turnout.
His followers (to a large enough degree) will either stay home or vote McCain. They are screwed unless Obama drops out NOW, and says it is for the good of the country. Then he actively supports Hillary. Even then I am not so sure. But I do think they are toast, and probably planning on a 2012 strategy by now.
Agrred. B.O. will get the nomination or there will be riots in the hood.
