Barack Obama made a call for nonviolence in the aftermath of the Sean Bell verdict - infuriating the Rev. Al Sharpton, who accused the presidential candidate of trying to "grandstand in front of white people," sources told The Post.
"[Obama] issues this statement and not a single rock had been thrown," said a source. "How does the candidate of change ask people to accept a verdict that is unjust?" This is just too funny. These quotes from Wright and Sharpton will offend civilized voters across America. Their self-importance is killing their candidate.
“..The poverty pimps are worried about Obama ruining their monopoly on the lucrative racial grievance industry.”
That is the exact case. The old dons of race pimping want nothing to do with a Black President. Once the Presidency is achieved by a Black person a symbolic point has been reached. A person of color has advanced as high as anyone can go in this society.
They may be helping Obama by making him appear moderate by comparison.
I’m sorry but I just don’t see unity if the likes of Obama-Wright-Sharpton are running things! When I hear any of them talk it’s strictly on color lines. I’m sick of hearing about slaves-reparations as Wright did. They weren’t slaves and I don’t feel I should be responsible for what happened 100 years ago-get over it and move on. Same with those whiney welfare types in New Orleans. get off your asses and put your city together! Quit waiting for the government to hand out checks. This country needs to be taken back.
Sharpton can’t stand it when he’s not the center of black attention.
