McCain is the only pro-life candidate of the three. If you’re (and I mean genearlly not you Ilya) a conservative and care about life you will swallow your pride and vote McCain. He isn’t perfect — or even close — but there is a world of difference and millions of lives between him and Obama/Hillary.

If Stevens is replaced by a pro-life USSC judge Roe v. Wade will finally go the way of the Dodo. If not, it will be another thirty years of abortions everywhere.

What’s more important? Your pride. Their lives.

"McCain is the only pro-life candidate of the three"

McCain is not pro-life. Unless your definition of pro-life is wanting to kill millions of unborn babies in one fell swoop instead of one at a time. Lest you forget, he voted for and supports stem cell research.

There is more to the presidency than abortion. McCain answers none of my needs as a politician.

By the way, how is advocating the legalization of millions of invaders any less destructive to our society than abortion?

Great post!! I agree completely. I’ve been disgusted reading all these anti-McCain comments on FR. With all his faults McCain’s Supreme Court appointments will be light years better than Obama or Clinton’s. Obama would be the most pro abortion President in US history.
