Mark just said he likes a good steak, “medium well to well”. If you cook it like that, you don’t like steak. He is spot on about ethanol. What a waste of good food stuff.

Oh he doesn’t care! lol
He’ll only be there 2 days, taking the red-eye back Wednesday a.m. He doesn’t like to travel much and this month he’s taken 4 trips. The only downside to that is he worries that I’ll have nothing to do. AS IF!

They’re cutting down avacado trees in California because of water shortage. Maybe they should drill for oil there.
But NoooOOOooooo, we’re not allowed.

Silage. It's fermented in the silo to breakdown the fibers so it can be digested by livestock. The same corn can be left in the field to mature for harvest later. This is used for a variety of feeds and products. Everything from corn syrup to corn bread.
(Hey, I grew up around farms and Ag is a big deal in Whizconzin)

If you cook it like that, you dont like steak. I like my steak like a piece of charcoal and I know I'm not alone.
I gather from your tagline that you don't like "food nazis." Great, then why are you sounding like one?

Instead of growing corn for the people they’re growing corn for the governments new super duper green fuel. What’s the cost of fuel to process that.

A friend of our family owns property in the Pacific Beach neighborhood. I like the area but I have no money to go anywhere.

I saw a thing on the news that said it was due in part to some endangered fish. Hmmm, creamy Guacamole or the stinkslime fish? Very difficult choice.
