Yeah, I have been noting the occasional cases across the country of college dudes, apparently drunk and falling into a river, over the past decade.

So these detectives have been finding “calling cards” over the years? That puts a new face on it. As the article states, one person alone cannot possibly be doing this.

So we’re definitely not dealing with a lone Ted Bundy type here. Not to jump to conclusions but I’m betting it’ll turn out we’ve got a merrie band of Gay Caballeros here.

One temptation is to consider some kind of hispanic gang...one basic method of killing, taking somebody from a party, but no women...Gay Caballeros? All college guys..someone being jealous of their being in college?

If your objective is to target a particular group and not get caught, one strategy would be to range far and wide so no one makes any connections. But to leave a signature...sounds like a case for NUMB3RS.

They may have been withholding the calling card detail so as to thwart copycat pranksters leaving such materials near accident locations.

But if the authorities had good reason to suspect foul play all along, then they have been criminally negligent to engage in a conspiracy to dismiss it all as “drunken accidental drowning”.

Hey, Sinanju, Remember that asian INS agent who went missing from a DuPont Circle Starbucks around Feb. 2001 or 1999? I think her name was Chang. This was a few months or a year before Chandra Levy. Her body was found in one of the rivers and her wallet and other ID were found at the water's edge weeks before. I think there were witnesses to her abduction. And there was some sort of graphic or words about Chang, spraypainted on a wall near the point of abduction.

Her brother, Roger, was Dem official for being so young at the time.
