Electing the Clintons and counting on taking over Congress in January of 2011 backlash won’t be much consolation if a bunch of our cities are toasted in 2010.

And how would a bunch of toasted Democrat parasite nests hurt conservatism, exactly?

Even cave-dwelling muslim strategists can see that toasting NY, LA, or DC would be bad for them politically; a large portion of thier support would be gone. And toasting a smaller burg in middle USA will not bring down the ‘great satan’ economically. IMHO that is why there has been no additional attacks here; there is no political upside for the muslim horde.

You do have a good point. The Clintons' Chinese allies might nuke San Diego and Houston, but if they get San Francisco and Los Angeles too (except the wind there blows over Republican Riverside and San Bernadino).

Now as to McCain -- you can bet that he will make sure the Navy keeps getting supercarriers -- cuz he want's one named after him.

As to having a Republican comeback -- how long was FDR and his Democrats in power?
