Why conservatives should support Hillary Clinton for President

Posted on 04/25/2008 12:59:01 AM PDT by Imperial Warrior

If someone told me in the 1990's that I, an outspoken and vehement opponent of the Clintons would now be endorsing Hillary Clinton for President of the United States, I would have laughed in their face at the absolute absurdity of the notion. But here I am now, a staunch conservative, joining conservatives Ann Coulter and Bill Cunningham among others in endorsing Hillary Rodham Clinton for President. How could this be? As absurd as the notion that I would someday endorse Hillary Clinton for President over the Republican nominee is the equally absurd notion that barely a decade after one of the most corrupt Presidential administrations in history that the Republican Party flush with electoral victories, ample popular support, and control of all three branches of the federal government would now be on its knees, beaten, defeated and wandering the landscape lacking purpose, direction, and intestinal fortitude begging for scraps at the liberal table of power they handed over to the political opposition and doing their damnedest to emulate or surpass the liberal policies they supposedly exist to counter and defeat.

To wit the assembled "braintrust" of the national Republican Party beltway political establishment chooses among all its possible candidates for President the single individual that embodies the epitomy of surrender, concession, and appeasement to liberalism and a disloyalty to both party and constituent base, ie: John "Amnista" McCain, the reliable old backstabber and bosom buddy of the most extreme liberals in the federal government. By doing this, the RNC has sent a clear and unequivocal signal to the rank and file Republican voter base that they can go screw themselves and shove their conservative ideological agenda. So what we have in reality are three liberals running for President including the Republican candidate who hates his own. Therefore, conservatism, the only reason most Republicans, conservatives, and conservative libertarians and independents remained with the Republican Party is now gone.

So why Hillary Clinton, isn't she worse than John McCain and almost as bad as Barack Obama? Well, considering that John McCain is an unstable, unreliable backstabbing RINO ally of the worst of the worst liberal trash in the Senate and Congress and has a long record of conspiring and actively working against his own; I cannot say that this two-bit traitorous fraud is operatively any "better" than Democrats Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton, whom McCain has referred to as his "honorable and distinguished" Senate colleagues while pissing and crapping on conservatives and fellow Republicans, even those who defend and are later rewarded with condemnation from him along with his liberal allies.

But still why should conservatives support a Hillary Clinton ticket instead of a John McCain one? Here's why. First, if Republicans line up to support this backstabbing RINO jerk, the message that the RINO infested Republican Party beltway establishment will receive is that the Republican voter base is so desperate, defeatist, and despirited that it will accept a big government liberal phony in conservative clothing no different from a liberal Democrat instead of bonafide genuine conservatives who pursue a limited, small government, Constitutional originalist, free market agenda. Furthermore, by supporting a flagrant opponent of conservatives and conservatism, not only will more RINO frauds be put forth for political office, conservatives will be admitting that conservatism itself is worthless and invalid, and future Republican politicians would be right in mocking and condemning it. Lastly, just by putting a clueless Republican liberal dope dressed in conservative clothing in office only to be savaged, betrayed, and eventually torn to pieces by his "liberal buddies" for the sake of their own party's future political fortunes, will showcase the failure not of stupid liberal policies pursued by a Republican President or the folly of surrounding oneself with the political opposition, but simply the failure of Republicans as a party period. A McCain Presidency will see not only the continued betrayal of conservatives and rank and file Republicans but the seizure of political power by liberals and Democrats using a clueless and unstable megalomaniac who hates his own party as a useful idiot to propel their own agenda on his watch, under his nose, and our dime.

However, by supporting Hillary Clinton, Republicans and conservatives would be sending an unequivocal message to the treasonous backstabbing RINO liberal scum that have run the Republican Party into the ground, destroyed the conservative agenda, and abandoned and abused their base that they will no longer be rewarded with power or succeed in peddling more phony liberal frauds as conservatives as a solution to jackbooted, Marxist, big government socialism when they are on the same page. Furthermore, by supporting Hillary Clinton, the devil we know instead of Barack "Hamas" Obama, Republicans and conservatives will be sending the Democrats a signal that if you want our votes, crossover or otherwise, do not put forth an Islamoracist extremist who associates and surrounds himself with the most vile and despicable of racists, race separatists, black supremacists, anti-Semites, America haters, and violence espousing hatemongers.

In short again, supporting Hillary Clinton, sends a message to the Republican Party that betrayal, backstabbing, and abandonment will not be tolerated and to the Democrat Party that foaming at the mouth racists and America hating extremists will be rejected out of hand. If Hillary Clinton is elected both the clueless and the extreme will have to reevaluate the kinds of individuals they choose to field as candidates for President of the United States. Many believe that with the ongoing "war" within the Democrat Party that John McCain is a shoe-in and the RINO infested RNC have it made. They are dead wrong. One more stupid, ungrateful, and gutless denunciation by McCain or his RINO cabal of other Republicans and conservative leaders and this dope will have visited upon himself the very thing he has visited upon loyal Republicans and conservatives for many, many years: abandonment and rejection of him and the beltway Republican establishment that backs him. I believe a Hillary Clinton Presidency would both discredit the worthless RINO infested RNC beltway blowhards and restore the momentum of the conservative movement while at the same time discrediting the extremist, vile, hate-filled race infused agenda of the current DNC who prefer an abject race baiting America hater like Obama to a comparatively normal far-flung leftist like Hillary.

However, in the final analysis, the one and only thing that brings some conservatives to the sad conclusion that it would be better for a liberal Democrat like Hillary Clinton to win the Presidency instead of the Republican candidate is that the Republican in question is so horrible and detrimental to the future of conservatism and sovereign Constitutional government that his failure as well as that of the greedy, self-serving, and treasonous political movement behind him is more important to achieve than a single elective office albeit the most major one. That blame lies squarely with the Republican Party establishment itself and its disgusting failure to support its own base when its loyal base, not the liberals they cower and cater to, made it possible for them to wield such political power in the first place.

I agree completely! I couldn't even bring myself to vote for the hildabeast when Rush asked us to do that in the Texas primary. As bad as McCain is, he is better than any dem and he gets my vote in the general election.

IT IS INSANITY FOR REPUBLIANS TO STAY HOME. JUST LIKE IT WAS TO GIVE A PROTEST VOTE TO PEROT. INSANITY!!!!!!

The next president will in all likelihood appoint three supreme court justices. This is reason enough not to vote democratic.

Amen! By electing McInsane, we ensure the Marxists achieve their one party system. Conservatives in leadership positions within the GOP will be quickly purged after McCain begins his “Cultural Revolution.”

On the abortion issue alone, supporting Hillary is pure insanity. Since there are several other issues that McCain would deal with in a better way as well....supporting Hillary would be worse than insanity!

I'd never endorse Hillary Clinton, never vote for her (I'd rather vote for a third party because that wouldn't give her the appearance of having momentum), but a John McCain presidency would pretty much be the end of conservatives in the GOP as we know it, particularly with McCain already showing his willingness to micromanage the political parties. McCain will get more Democratic Congresses, which will mean liberal legislation by the ton. McCain works well with Democrats (to pass their agenda.) Name one Conservative thing he's worked with Democrats to accomplishment. It would depress the GOP base and lead a near permenent Democratic Majority on the hill. A McCain presidency would be similar to an Eisenhower presidency (another guy who didn't care much about the party base.)

When Ike came to power, Republicans had 221 House Seats and 48 Senate Seats. When he left the GOP had only 174 House Seats and and 37 Senate seats. That's the historical precedent of having a President who doesn't care about the party base.

On the other hand, if Obama is elected (in particular), it'll mean a lot of people will die. Hillary is far more competent than he, but remember the last Clinton Administration gave us Gorelick's "Wall" which led to 9/11. So thus the choice, "Vote Republican or people die." Vote for what you fear rather than what you love. Praise Emperor McCain and pass the barf bag.

This presidential campaign reminds me of a major golf tournament. All McCain has to do is make par and he can win it. Yet he hit's double bogeys like his Katrina statements yesterday and his no bailout for risky home loans flip flop the other day. I feel it's going to be a long summer/fall.

It is always about settling scores. That is the reality of politics in the US today.

Good intentions, but you got the order wrong:

Stop Hillary
Stop Obama
Stop McCain

It’s triage of a sort.

Are you sure you left the party? The party left me and in no uncertain terms. McCain, Bush called me names and stuck a finger up my nose. For that there is no forgiveness.

"See you at the signing!"

I do not believe the choice of actors or the way the character has developed was an accident. Some scary $hit.

Having suffered through eight years of the Clintons’ sleaze, I do not want a repeat of the sex offender back demeaning our White House. With John McCain & Cindy, we would get more sleaze plus a mentally ill president. While Obama (as far as I know) has not committed rape or adultery and has a normal family life, he is equally bad for the country.

You are right.

I have wondered how the talk of John McCain being the Manchurian Candidate got started?
