No the local media here barely covers the return of of fallen soldiers.
And barely covers returning troops. They cover it like an inconvenient footnote.

I was in Maine last year when a fallen soldier was soon to be returned. You couldn’t not know. They were really respectful about it. I was only there a few days but the preparations were shown as important news. And it really stuck out how different it is in MA....arrogant.

Yes we like our Vets here in Maine. NH was like that too but libs came in and took over and I moved here to Maine. Soon, I’ll have to move to Australia to find people on earth with any courage or honor left.

The troops are welcomed home regularly in Bangor ME airport, with local residents shoing up to join travelers et al to show respect. Amazing that ‘downeast’ can show two such widely disparate faces as ME and MA! Basicly, MA is the armpit of the USA, and their jr and sr senators vividly display the stench daily!
