Here is the news story that put the lie to this whole silly post:http://deseretnews.com/article/1,5143,695271689,00.html
But this is a new affidavit, SUPPOSEDLY alleging that Swinton’s # was used to call the Texas shelter.
The problem is, the affidavit is for a completely different case. Why would they be mentioning the Texas case in a Colorado court case about an event that happened months before this Texas event?
"A source close to the situation said the woman first contacted anti-ploygamy activist Flora Jessop after the raid began, claiming to need help. That call was being investigated by Arizona child welfare authorities."
Now I don't know how you make it any plainer to the fringe posters here. But maybe they think the Deseret News reporter is making it up.
That’s from last friday, and she was a person of interest.
It is certainly POSSIBLE that between last friday and this wednesday, the investigators have questioned her as a person of interest, or has done more legwork, and now has specific information.
And if it’s an ongoing investigation, there may be nothing public about it, except the filings they have to make that are public.
We should know more as time goes by.
This story is from last week!!!
The court documents that state for sure that Swinton called the shelter in Texas (that sparked the raid) with her cell phone.
Instead of saying that things are false, why not read the current news reports on the matter?
